Common Questions About the Skydiving Course & A-License

How does a skydiving course work?

You start with theory and ground training. Then you do your first jump with two instructors. After each jump, you receive feedback and progress step by step.

How many jumps are required for the A-license?

At least 25 approved jumps. Each jump is a specific exercise, and the training ends with a check jump. You can either buy the entire course as a package or build it step by step (Try-Out + Part 2 + Part 3).

What are the requirements to start the course?

You should be in good health and able to move freely. An approved medical certificate from an aviation doctor is required before starting the course.

What happens if I fail a jump?

Then you’ll do a repeat jump. You only pay for that jump. This is common and part of the process.

Can I pause the course?

Yes. For longer breaks, you may need to review theory or practical elements before continuing.

What can I do after the training?

With an A-license, you can jump on your own in Sweden and many other countries. You can also continue your training, for example, to fly a wingsuit or become an instructor.
